Hello! My name is Mrs. Sequoyia Lindsey, and I'm one of the two school counselors at Oxford Elementary School. For the past four years, I have primarily worked with second through fourth graders; however, I'm passionate about making a difference in the lives of all our students. Prior to becoming a School Counselor, I worked in higher education at the prestigious Talladega College.
I'm happily married to my amazing husband, Brandon, and we have a handsome son named Brayden. In addition to my work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, cheering for the Auburn Tigers, traveling, and painting.
Education:
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis on Marriage and Family from Auburn University at Montgomery and a Master of Science in School Counseling from Jacksonville State University. I'm also a National Certified Counselor (NCC).
